Dan has a different approach to therapy than I had seen until I met him. He is truly a great listener and adjusts his methods and tactics to each individual and family situation. Other therapists and life coaches I had talked to before meeting Dan were okay at listening, but I often got a sense that they had a set way of thinking about and helping their clients and rarely thought outside that box. That is not how Dan approaches therapy. He is always updating his research, and when something new comes along he is excited to learn more about it and share it with everyone he feels will benefit. And truly, that means *everyone* --because I have seen that his knowledge and methods have helped so many individuals, marriages, and families.

Dan's foundation is in the teachings of Jesus Christ and he is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, but his approaches are so much more helpful than traditional LDS therapists and, for that matter, most LDS leaders. In addition to individual clients, he visits churches and other groups around the country and teaches those who work with young adults and families how they can better approach the difficult things facing all of us today.

I have personally benefitted more than I know how to say from his help, and I know he's helped many more. If you're looking for someone to help you navigate changing yourself and your relationship for the better, I highly recommend him. —Kelsey Henry
